20 Mil Vapor Barrier — High Strength™ by SilverBack®

High Strength™ is a 20 Mil Vapor Barrier and the gold standard in crawl space moisture protection. Engineered for performance, this barrier is constructed from 100% virgin polyethylene resin and reinforced with high-strength polyethylene ribbons woven in a cross-hatch pattern. A PURE Premium® laminated surface provides a smooth, seamless finish for easier installation and a professional look.

Unlike standard coated woven products, High Strength™ offers superior puncture and tear resistance while maintaining flexibility and ease of handling installing like a 12 mil, but delivering the strength of a true 20 mil barrier.

Not all liners offered on the internet in the 20 mil crawl space vapor barrier class are approved for use in a Crawl Space Encapsulation®. High Strength™ has met the strict criteria to provide a Do It Once™ installation. High Strength™ meets the following standards-

1. 100% made with first use virgin polyethylene resin
2. Actual plastic thickness is over .012″ or 12 mil
3. Passes Tested Pure™ lab testing standard for odor causing impurities
4. Each roll sold must have an individual serial number
5. Meet Class A testing requirements
6. Less than .01 perms
7. GS1 UPC tracking number
8. All rolls have protective wrapper prior to installation
9. All layers and welds from factory must be bonded with polyethylene- no glues or tapes
10. Minimum 30 year warranty
